Steve Marks’ family has been involved in the timber products business in Clancy, Montana for over 75 years. His grandfather cut timbers for the underground mines in the 1930’s and 1940’s. His father followed in his footsteps in ranching and in sawing and selling rough-cut lumber products. Now, many years later, Mark and his wife Laura carry on the family legacy. Marks Lumber is a full service sawmill and lumber operation serving Montana and the surrounding states.

We became acquainted with the team when they inquired about our Flat Track barn door hardware line. We’ve been working with them ever since!
